Ms. Dania Javaid, alumini of National Institute of Psychology Quaid- i- Azam University, currently working as an Elementary School Teacher in the Directorate of Elementary & Secondary Education, AJK has made a remarkable achievement by participating and selected as “the best delegate” in the Global Online Youth Summit (GOYES) 2021. Her proposal to inculcate mental health education in the education system in response to the call for sustainable solutions to the problems faced by the education system globally, was applauded by the delegates.
The Summit focused on the “Sustainable Development Goad (SDG) 4- Quality Education adopted by United Nations for peaceful and prosperous future. The event provided an opportunity to interact with prominent educationalists, academics, and educationists.
One week before the summit, 200 delegates from more than sixty countries, out of 1033 participants were selected to prepare a proposal for the viable solutions to the problems pertaining to quality education. The highly committed teams of the delegates proposed wide range of ideas to improve education including, introducing mental helath in the education system, capacity building training to teachers and parents on early childhood education; IT-based instructional teaching designs; Designing and using certain Apps in the process of teaching and learning; reaching out the children living in the slum areas and belonging to the underprivileged communities, etc.

ANNUAL NIP-ALUMNI GALA DINNER (2019)
TRIBUTE TO DR. MUHAMMAD AJMAL
The National Institite of Psychology and NIP Alumni Association (AA-NIP) hosted the institute's annual dinner on the evening of 22nd November, 2019. The event had been organized under the leadership of NIP Director, Prof. Dr. Anila Kamal and Brigadier (Retd.) Dr. Tanvir Akhtar(President NIP Alumni Association) along with the participation of the members of the Executive Board of NIP Alumni Association. Formal Proceedings of the program started with the recitation from the Holy Quran and welcoming of guests by the alumni executive committee. Soon after, an entertainment program was presented by NIP Students that included an array of tableau performances, funny skits, parodies of celebrities, cultural dances and poetry recitation. The event came to a formal end with the serving of a lavish dinner. The event was attended by a large number of guests including alumni and their families, faculty, and current students.
