National Institute of Psychology initiated working on a database of NIP contacts. This database will comprise the information in the following four domains:

1. Psychologists
2. Organizations
3. Alumni
4. Others

The database provides a quick access to the information that would serve variety of functions like,

1. Seeking contacts for collaborations in research
2. Inviting contacts for seminars, conferences and workshops etc.
3. Locating prospective organizations that could offer internship
4. Students addresses for correspondence e.g. Alumni get together
5. Obtaining academic assistance
